Paleotectonical and paleogeomorphological reconstructions and seismolithofacial analysis of the main unconformity surfaces was performed. As a result, zones of concentration of reservoir rocks were predicted, on various stratigraphic levels. 12 traps were found and mapped. 8 traps with the total area of more than 500km2 are located within the Western Gholitsyn structural nose. Here, drilling a prospecting well with depth 2500m, up to recovering the entire Paleogene deposits, is recommended. Within the Eastern Osetrovy nose, 4 traps are located.
