It was established that three and two phase transitions occur in LSGM-05 and LSGM-10, respectively. Anisotropy of electrical conductivity has been observed in these crystals for the first time. Correlations between conductivity level, activation energy and structure peculiarities of different modifications of LSGM have been established. Based on Laue method, the reconstruction of domain structure at the transition from orthorhombic to trigonal phase of LSGM-05 crystals has been investigated. The method for the identification of the domain structure has been developed. The results were used for the study of anisotropy of observed diffuse scattering, which is caused by ordering of vacancies in the crystal. It was established, that "chevron-like" configuration of domain structure appear at the transition from orthorhombic to trigonal phase of the LSGM crystal. The resultsobtained are planned to be used for the solving of technological problems, such as synthesis of improved LaGaO3-based ionic conductors and optimization of their properties by means of controlled iso- and aliovalent substitution.
