Charge-discharge characteristic of the oxygen-modified alloys based on (Ti,Zr)2Ni system has been studied in dependence of Ti/Zr ratios and oxygen content. Discharge capacity of some alloys exceeds 300 mAh/g, that is two times higher than for pure Ti2Ni alloy. It has been shown that hydrogenation capacity of the chemically related Zr-Al intermetallics depends on the ratio between components active (Zr) and inactive (Al) toward hydride-formation.
