The deformation fracture criterion for homogeneous bodies with the angular notches under plane strain condition has been constructed. It was proved experimentally on the beam specimens with an angular notch under thee-point bending. A new method for solving dynamic problems of fracture mechanics based on time-finite differences and singular integral equations on spatial variables has been developed. Two approaches to investigation of the elastic-plastic bodies with rounded notches, when the plastic zone envelopes the hole contour only partly, has been developed.
