The percolation threshold and the post-critical dependence of permeability upon melt fraction are found. We obtain analytical solutions characterizing enrichment of a melt that percolates through a solid matrix with trace elements. Using these solutions the evolution of rare element patterns in a percolating melt is modeled. It is shown that in the limit of full saturation the trace element patterns do not depend neither on the melt fraction nor on the rock modal composition. This independence seems to be the main reason of a close similarity of trace element patterns observed in kimbrlites from the world kimberlite provinces.
