Description

The investigation of the structure of penetration resistance has been carried out with the help of modified Alekseevskii-Tate mode. Such components were identified as: static, kinematic and dynamic. Two new types of ballistic equations for motion of non-deformable penetrator in plastic and brittle materials have been proposed. From the first principles with the help of pseudopotential method the theoretical strength of ceramic materials with cubic structure has been determined. With the methods of molecular dynamics the relaxation of spatial distribution of atoms at high-speed deformation has been investigated; modeling of impact of ceramic samples has been carried out
