Research aim - theoretical grounding of species composition and creation of natural models of tolerant and highly productive fodder agrophytocoenoses. Taxonomic and typological analyses of flora from meadow pastures of the region have been conducted; the stages of pasture succession of plant communities from humid habitats have been determined. Renewal potential of meadow pasture flora has been assessed to be average. Creation of multispecific fodder plant communities under conditions of intensive anthropogenic impact has been substantiated by means of species selection according to their adaptation to ecologic-and-phytocenotic conditions and highly pronounced bio-economic characters. Seven nature models of multicomponent fodder agrophytocenoses have been developed for the concrete ecotopes of the south-east of Ukraine. Studies of dynamics of species composition of fodder agrophytocenoses under conditions of industrial enterprise and interrelations between plant species depending upon the age of the cenosis enabled to distinguish the basic stages of agrophytosenoses succession and to determine its direction towards natural communities. Functional peculiarities of multicomponent fodder agrophytocenoses have been investigated with the participation of medicinal plants the using of which enables to obtain high-quality balanced forage with medical and prophylactic effect. The data on forage value and elementary composition of fodder plant communities have been obtained as well as peculiarities of heavy metals accumulation by medicinal plants from the collections of the Donetsk Botanical Gardens of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
