Ecophysiological method of phytocenoces creation includes 3 groups of methods: 1 - method of determining ecophysiological characteristic of some plant species; 2 - methods of determining ecotope characteristic; 3 - method of assessment of the degree of compliance of plant characteristics to those of ecotope. The structure of the regional succesional system has been investigated. The stages of successional cahnges of natural phytocenoces peculiar to the Donetsk region have been determined. The connection between synanthropic and natural subsystem and their specificity have been revealed. The study analyses the possibilities of development forecasting and tolerance control. New methods have been proposed for generalized scheme of technogenous ecotope optimization on the basis of successional approach with methodical studying of some stages which can be modified for various conditions. Age and vitality structures has been investigated as well as density of populations of the most widely plant species on coal mine dumps of Donbass.
