The research object is the Precambrian of the Ukrainian Shield (US) and the useful minerals, which are localized in the Precambrian. The aim of the work is to clear up the geodynamic conditions of large-scale ore deposits formation in the US Precambrian. The research method is the analysis of a geological structure and the regularities of useful minerals distribution of the US from the positions of the lithosphere plate tectonics conception. It was reconstructed paleotectonic regimes and geodynamic situations of formation and remaking of the crust of the US regions where the large-scale deposits of uranium, iron and other useful minerals were localized. New paleogeodynamic models of the formation of the crust of the uranium ore province of the US central part and the Kryvoj Rog iron ore basin are proposed. These models suppose the accumulation of the ore-bearing sediments in pericratonic and over arc basins with their following double remaking in subduction and collision conditions divided by the period of over arc riftogenesis. Considerable role in the ore formation are added also to the initial stage of such platform period of shield development as hydrothermal-metasomatic ore formation, which was conditioned by heating of fracture waters of the young orogen of the Kirovograd geoblock in connection with the introduction of the early phases of the Korsum-Novomirgorod plutone. The total interval of ore formation is about 1 (2,8-1,8) Ga. The more late transformations of uranium ores on the perspective deposits for uranium output by the underground leaching method were estimated. The estimation of the perspectives of native diamond-bearingness of the Shield is given accordingly to paleogeodynamic position and the analysis of the distribution of placer diamond finds was made. The received results may be use in paleogeodynamics, petrology, geotectonics, when drawing up tectonic and metallogenic maps, working up stratigraphic schemes, and also whensearching useful minerals and deciding ecological problems.
