The features of intra- and postoperative period in both groups of patients were studied. Introduction of method of coronary artery bypass grafting on a working heart allowed considerably to improve the immediate results of surgical treatment of ischemic heart disease and reduce hospital mortality in 16 times. The ways of prophylaxis and treatment of basic postoperative complications were developed. On the basis of analysis of long-term results reasons and terms of their worsening are certain.
