Ilchenko, Registration Date 16-12-2005 Organization Research Institute of Telecommunications National technical university of Ukraine "KPI" popup.description2 The goal of the project is to develop effective methods and means of forming and processing complex signals to build perspective telecommunication systems based on multiple code division access. The basic idea of the work is to move forward two lines of investigation, which impact efficiency of systems based on the multiple code division access method: forming and applying distortion-resistant address codes and methods of multiple code demodulating of complex signals; utilizing novel methods of digital signal processing and effective channel equalizers based on artificial neural nets. A novel, well-grounded procedure to estimate the noise immunity of ensembles of address codes for CDMA systems is proposed. The procedure is based on estimating of intercorrelation functions and its distortions by means of statistical processing input values of noise-immunity level parameters. An original scheme of PSK-4 demodulator with better noise-immunity characteristics in compare with existent solutions is developed. In addition to the demodulator a scheme of carrier phase recovery based on novel algorithmic structures is developed. To effectively eliminate the effects caused by linear and non-linear distortions in communication channels an original equalizer based on artificial neural nets is developed.
