The process of two stage burningof lowsorted fuels have been investigated. The using of additives of wood waste to turf and brown coal has led to the considerable decrease in ejection of carbon oxide and nitrogen oxides. The heating of air (primary and secondary) for 80 C decreased carbon oxide ejectionsfor 1.3-1.5 times with stable level of nitrogen oxides. The influence of the size of the fuel piece atits burning in the layer on the fire grate on the powerofthe heat generator was investigated. The catalytic action of additives of chip from steel 1X18H9T on the brown coal burning process leading to the decrease in carbon oxide concentration in flue gases was noted.
