The aim of the work is the research of the bitumen aging process on the basis of advanced methods of testing in order to assess the rate of bitumen degradation under the influence of technological and environmental factors and to develop suggestions with respect to slow down process of aging and to significantly prolong their real service life. The method of the research is the study of scientific and technical literature connected with the processes of bitumen ageing and the methods of their assessment, the study of the processes of polymer modified bitumen aging by means of advanced home and common European methods of testing.
