Purpose of the work - to study the level of involvement of female rural population in the oncological incidence and to develop the ways of improvement of oncological aid for these patients. Methods of study - descriptive epidemiology, statistic analysis, medical informatics. For the first time the state of cancer incidence in female rural population of Ukraine and dynamic models of this process during 40 years are studied, the reliable 1,3 times increase of cancer incidence rates is ascertained; the leading places in cancer incidence structure are taken with breast cancer, stomach, skin, cervical uteri, corpus uteri - altogether they occupied 52,7 % of all cancer cases. It was determined that in 1990-2003 decreasing of support of rural population with treatment-and-preventive institutions was observed, bed resources decreased to 54,1 %, among them oncological bed resources - for 8,9 %. Breast and cervical uteri cancer screening programs using modern informatics technology were developed and approved, which afford an opportunity to improve timely diagnostics of tumors in these sites. The results of this work were used in Orders of MH of Ukraine № 677 of 31.12.2004 and № 408 of 11.08.2004, and in draft of Order of MH of Ukraine “About the measures of further improvement and development of oncological aid”. The results of the work are used in oncological operative management, in educational process in institutions of higher education. Significance of the study is in obtaining data about the oncological-and- epidemiological state and state of organizing of oncological aid for Ukrainian rural female population.
