The aim of work - theoretical and experimental investigation of steel desulphuration process at the expense of treatment it by slag and calcium in ladle, finding conditions of steel treatment by CW which provide lowering silico-calcium consumptions, increase and stabilization of calcium residual content in steel. Methods of investigation - ihermodynamic analysis, mathematical modeling of processes, statistical analysis of industrk heats. Results of the investigation: quantitative characteristics of heat interaction of SSM with liquid steel, desulphuration degree of steel by SSM, SESM and SS at equal specific consumption and rational SESM composition are determined. Theoretical analysis of steel desulphuration and non-metallic inclusions elimination at the expense of ladle treatment is fulfilled . Main factorsthat define residual calcium content in steel after ladle treatment by CW are determined. Rational regimes of steel treatment by CW that provide increase degree of calcium assimilation are determined. Their industrial testing is carried out.
