Used factual and cartographical data about geoecological state of Donbass territory. The first are entered into base of geodata according to the structure developed by authors with the help of GIS (MapInfo6.5) and special software "Hydro Donbass". As a result of the work, complex input forms for local level which were created and filled; 7 digital maps were formed. Zoning of GIS model, coal mining districts and river basins of Donbass according to man-caused environmental load was performed. The project of methodical instructions of investigating and forecasting of hydrogeological conditions of coal mining of Donbass was created. "HYDRO DONBASS" database software was approved and introduced in regional geological enterprises VostokGRGP and DonetskGRGP.A field of application is geological prospecting, hydrogeologicaland mining engineering .
