The method of the research is theoretically practical. The search, analysis of literary sources and normative documentation in the area of research and testing of bridges and pipes and the experience of actually examined and tested structures formed the basis for the creation of the manual to DBN B.2.3.-6-2002 "Bridges and pipes. Examination and testing". In the result of the implementation it is expected, that the developed methodology will allow to really perform the bridge diagnostics to the full extent. The implementation of the results will give the opportunity to perform bridge examination and testing more efficiently, to assess the technical status more precisely and to make plans for the repair work in time.
