Purpose of the research: To improve the accuracy of diagnosis of metastatic lesions to the lymph nodes in thyroid and breast cancer by means of development of a complex radiodiagnosis technique. Methods of the research: lymph node scan with 99mTc- nanocol, Doppler ultrasound, cytology, histology, statistical methods. Results and their novelty: The incidence of regional metastases and peculiarities of metastatic lesions in regional LN in patients with TC was 21,2 %, and in patients with BC 52,2%. Lymph node scan to identify SLN should be done in the patients with BC and TC before the surgery. Sensitivity and specificity of the method are high, 72-75 % and 100 % respectively. CDM as a separate method of identification of the involved LN is an informative method, together with LNS its sensitivity and specificity 80% (which was determined for the first time). With the consideration of the obtainedfindings, a technique for complex radiodiagnosis of metastatic lesions in the sentinel and regional LN in TC and BC was worked out. The developed technology contains a characteristic of the primary tumor, investigated lymph nodes, stages of the patient selection who can be performed different types and combinations of radiation investigations for identification of sentinel lymph nodes.
