The aim of work is to construct physical model, which describes influence of the quantum and classical size- phenomenon on the charge effects in the nanostructure. In the framework of the particle-in-a-box model analytical theory of the energetic and force characteristics of the low-dimensional systems were developed. Oscillations of the electronic elastic force, the work function, the ionization potential and the electron affinity for the neutral and charged clusters of the various shape are calculated. The two-component model, for the Coulomb instability of charged metal cluster is proposed. It yields the different critical sizes depending on a kind of charging particle. Expression for the defining the amount and the sing of the electrostriction was received. In the approach of strong quantization the current-voltage characteristics of the single-electron transistor was obtained. Our calculations with taking into account image potential wasproved the existence of the surface sub-band.
