The collateral inoculation of lucerne with complementary strains of rhizobia followed by treatment with plant growth regulators of cytokinin or auxin nature during the vegetation season improves nitrogen-fixing potential, softens negative influence of poor water delivery and increase seed yield of the given culture on 15-43 %. For the first time opportunity of labilizing of metabolic processes of macro- and microsymbionts with the help of polysaccharides rhizobial and nonrhizobial an origin was shown. By the means of analytical selection and hybridization new high-activity competitive strains of nodule bacteria of lucerne Sіnorhіzobіum melіlotі М12 and a milk vetch east Bradyrhіzobіum sp. (Galega) 159 were received. Their application as inoculation agents provides increase of total weight of plants on 9-19 %and seeds on 12-22 %.
