Recommendations from the control of system of the asynchronous electric drive on the basis of algorithm VPWM are made; the four-steps switching principle is applied for switching transistors in bidirectional keys of the converter. The control system of the matrix converter functioning on the given algorithm and realized on programmable logic matrixes is developed; programs for functional units of a control system are written. The expediency of application of the the asynchronous engine with open-end windings as an engine for the electric drive in vine industry, and the double frequency converter for a supply of the engine of such type, is shown; Recommendations on control of such systems are developed.
