A collection of 200 inbredes was created and their combining ability was estimated. A series of new hybrids was developt and their heterotic potetial constituted 85-105 q/ha of grain. The best of them was delivered for state trials in 2005. It is a first maize hybrid in Ukreine and in post soviet sphere, developed on the basis of DNA-techology.
