The purpose of research: studying of potential of integration of a society and its regional features on the basis of the analysis of public opinion of the population of Ukraine concerning modern transformations in the country in a regional section. The received results: the analysis of public opinion shows, that the modern condition of regional and public integration is based on rapproachement cultural, historical and modern political regionalization. Existence various, though and partially crossed, economic, political and geopolitical preferences the population of regions of Ukraine is fixed. Such society can be characterized as faintly integrated in which the national-state identification is changeable and depends from interiorization of political institutes, their ability to provide stability. At the same time the tendency to significant rapproachement of positions of representatives of different regions, that is to a national consensus in perception of new Ukraine as own Native land is fixed{recorded}. Results of research testify, that regional features and features of a political situation of last years, have appeared the catalyst of activization of civil consciousness and behavior of inhabitants of all regions.
