Objective: studying IPH in children and adolescents as a psychological phenomenon. Methods: psychological, psychosemantic (a method of mini-composition). Theoretical and practical results: the structure of IPH in adolescents has been described combined in IPH structure - content components and structure - dynamics characteristics. If has been shown that structure- content components compose personality, socio-ecologic and formal groups. It has been established that behavioral, emotional, self-estimational and valuability components, compose IPH nuclear part, the cognitive, motivational, corporal and environmental components making its peripheral part. It has been proved that the IPH structure-dynamics characteristics reflect the functional dynamics of the IPH in the individual consciousness of a teen-ager. Novelty: theoretical notions of the IPH have been expanded; an IPH empirical model for children and adolescents aged 11 -17 has been developed. Effectiveness: upgrading psychological support of schoolchildren and preventing health disorders through understanding the psychological mechanisms of its formation. Application fields: medical psychology, pediatrics, psychology of development and pedagogical psychology. Advantages: IPH model in children and adolescents has been proposed, the model including a wide spectrum of significant components and facilitating determination of individual combination of IPH dynamic characteristics in adolescents. That makes it possible to improve the system of psychological support of schoolchildren and to take into consideration on individual mechanisms of health formation in children and adolescents.
