Objective: outlining the scope of investigation and upgrading treatment methods for girls with PSD aimining at a decrease in the risk of disorders formation in the sexual system in future. Methods: conventional clinical, US diagnostic, biochemical, genetic, radioimmunologic, and immunoezymatic. Theoretical and practical results: major factors of the risk as regards PSD formation have been singled out, participation of melatonin, sympatho-adrenal system hyperactivation and PRL in PSD pathogenesis has been proved. It was established that PSD progression takes place against the background of FSH level increase and night peaks of LH. The presence of a set of dermatoglyphic sings, dependence of menarche onset on the age of PSD occurence were established in the study. It was revealed that early menarche is a factor of early manifestation of hypothalamic syndrome, syndrome of polycystic ovaries and recurring pubertal uterine bleedings. Prognostically unfavourable factors as regards effectiveness of non-hormonal methods of treatment for younger girls and adolescents with sexual development disorders were singled out.Novelty: prognosis of PSD development, new methods of differential diagnosis of its various forms, as well as new methods of treating girls with said pathology were worked out. Minimal scope of their investigation as regards different levels of medical care providing was substantiated. Effectiveness: reduced terms and costs of diagnosing PSD various forms.
