Objective: upgrading medico-scientific informative support in the field of school-children and adolescents health care. Methods: scientometric analysis (patent and information research, quantitative and qualitative analyses and market study); and medico-sociologic screening (questionnaires, interviews). Theoretical and practical results: there has been outlined the scope, the structure, the subject matter and the dynamics of developing innovation objects in the field of children and adolescents health protection during 2000-2005; there have also been determined the forms of cooperation between the authors and the users of scientific product, the mostwidely used objects of innovation stock and the factors that hinder the progress of innovation process. There have been defined the preferable ways of information transfer; the role of departments of scientific medical information, patenting and licensing in the transfer of novel medical technologies was established as well. Novelty: there have been worked out proposals concerning today's technologies of informational support for innovation activity in the field of children and adolescents health care, and a scheme of transfer of scientific product from the development stage to commercial use, as well as a model of innovational development of said field and the ways of its efficient functioning. Effectiveness: promotional optimization of commercial use of novel scientific products. Application field: pediatrics, school and adolescent medicine.
