The purpose of investigation - elaboration of quantitative estimation methodical bases, diagnostic and monitoring system of erosion dangerous soils in different soil climatic Ukrainian zones on basis of using remote sensing methods and geographical information systems. Investigation methods - traditional field and laboratory methods; space scanning by different satellites; radiolocation and penetrating radar scanning; geographical information systems and statistic methods. Theoretical and practical results - landscape indication models of relation of remote sensing data with general soil properties was worked up; the analysis of combine using of different remote sensing methods for quantitative estimation and erosion dangerous soil monitoring in different soil climatic Ukrainian zones; digital soil maps of single agricultural enterprises were created; the methodic of correction of soil mapping data according to space scanning and the methodic of soil erosion dangerous soil mapping on the base of space scanning were elaborated and introduced. Novelty - optimal remote sensing data composition for the purpose of soil mapping and monitoring (optical, near infrared and high-frequency range) was determined. Efficiency is composed of improvement of map accuracy, labour-intensiveness minimization (field and laboratory works), and perfection of quantitative methods for soil diagnostic.
