Thus, it seems quite possible that the co-ordination of apoptosis and translation occurs via p43 protein. The aim of the project - to demonstrate a principal possibility of such co-ordinations as well as to approach mechanisms of the phenomenon. We will reveal whether specific digestion of p43 and simultaneous release of EMAPII can be observed under caspase treatment.
