The purpose of work - creation of the full linear hydrodynamic theory of motions of floating bodies moving with the given velocity and direction regarding the incoming waves on a deep water and a shallow water. Methods of research - the hydrodynamic theory of ship motions, method of matched asymptotic expansions, method of integrated conversions. The obtained formulas are realized for calculation programs for PC on which systematic calculations of hydrodynamic parameters of motions are calculated. With the purpose of an estimation the quality of calculation results in the towing tank of ONMU the original experimental researches with ship models were conducted.
