Based on the analytical review and patent, retrival the compaunds containing ammonium (ammonium carbamide and ammonium lignor) were chaen to obtain ammonium sulphate which is traditionally produced at coke works. The experiments made on statics and kinetics of absorption showed that it is reasonabe to use concentrated or diluted solutions of ammonium sulphide - bisulphide for absorbing SO2 and converting NOx into harmless N2O. In addition when using diluted solutions it is possible to raise the temperature of gas cooling at the expence of lower partial pressure of SO2 and NH2. The diluted solution can be much easier oxidized to ammonium sulphate that has been experimentally proven on static and dynamic oxidation units. The efficiency of sulphur dioxide removal is 95%, nitrogen oxides removal 30%. This technology can treat 300 tpy SO2 and 80 NOx calculated on 1m try coke.
