The objects of research work - cherry fly.The aim of investigations is to determine the biological peculiarities of the development of a cherry fly in cherry and sweet cherry plantations. as well as to perfect the existing nowadays "Complex system" (Kyiv, 1991) dealing with profection of drupaceous crops from towis insect. The methods of investigations are field, mathematical statistics. It has been determined, that 80-85% of grubs of a cherry fly are on the depth 2-5 cm, the beginning of the mass flight imago takes place since 7-th till the 21-th of May. The period from the beginning of the mass egglaying to the beginning of the grubs rebirth under natural conditions is 6 days. The development of grubs in fruits takes place for 18-20 days. The injuring of fruits of cerry-trees and sweet-cherry trees is not more than 4,5-10,5% while using the preparation Acctellic 500 EC with the norm 1-1,2 l/hectare.
