The aim of investigations is to learn the biological peculiarities of the development of the pear gala mite under the conditions of the Central Forest Steppe Zone of Ukraine and investigate the efficiency of the preparation phytoverm 0,2% against this pest while budding in the nursery of grain crops; to develop the scientific substant- action of the control over this mite in the nursery of the grain crops. The females of the second generation appear at the end of the first and the beginning ofthe second part of June. The appearance of imago of the third generation was found at the end of June. It has been determined that the death of the pests is 92,8-98,4% under the use of the preparation phytoverm 0,2% during 30 minutes (0,4% of the working lignid) or 10 minutes (0,5% of the lignid).
