The form of the crown is the up right cord: in the experiment 2 - varieties of appls Idared, Gohnagold, Florina,Golden Delicious on the graft M9. The influence of the crown form such as up right cord (control), up right cord bush and area spindle form on the productivity of apple trees is investigated. The scheme of the planting in the garden 3.75x1.5 m (1778 trees/hectare). The aim of the work is to select the optimal area of nou rishing and optimal crown form for every variety-graft combination, which wauld provide the highest productivity. The methods of investigations are field, laboratory, mathematical statistics.
