Theoretical principles of inhibitor protection from carbonic acid corrosion are developed. The mechanism of carbonic acid corrosion of steel is investigated and established. Series of the substances capable effectively to prevent of carbonic acid corrosion are selected and investigated. On the basis of the developed principles are created inhibitor compositions for protection from carbonic acid corrosion of the oil and gas extraction equipment. Application of data inhibitors will allow to receive at insignificant financial expenses economic benefit due to reduction of quantity of corrosion damages of the equipment and social effect due to improvement of working conditions and optimization of protection of an environment.
