It was suggested that PKD2 is a predominant PKD isoform presented on the protein and mRNA level in the majority of lymphoid cell lines. It was shown that PKD2 is expressed on tissue sections of tonsils, reactive lymph nodes and tumor samples of non-Hodgkin lymphomas and Hodgkin disease. The dynamic of BCR mediated PKD2 activation in B cells was studied. On the model of different variant of non-Hodgkin lymphomas we demonstrated that PKD2 is expressed on different stages of B lymphocyte maturation from pre-germinal center (GC) B cells till post-GC B cells.
