To provide the data which are necessary for the reliable component's equation of state one needs in a thermodynamically-consistent strategy of their choice from the different sources. Such a method has been proposed. The method of calculation of critical curves and some relevant types of the phase diagrams in the selected systems has been developed. Evaluation of critical curves' forms and estimation of the possible presence of critical azeotropy have been done. An effective method to predict the phase diagram with the azeotropy in the low-temperature region was proposed and tested on the mixtures of carbon dioxide with ethylene and ethane as well as on the mixture R290 and R134a. Molecular-dynamic simulation for this systems provided the new concept of the azeotropy prediction in terms of binary interaction parameters.
