The finite-difference and spectral methods of numerical solution of differential equations which describe mesoscale and macroscale processes in atmosphere were developed. Numerical methods were analyzed in the view of representing concrete physical processes, such as spreading of inertial-gravity waves, evolution of baroclinically unstable waves, energy cascade upon spectrum etc. The analysis was carried out by studying of properties of numerical solutions of simplified differential equations and their comparison with well-known precise results. The questions of numerical solution of prognostic equations of regional models of atmosphere circulation were investigated. The results of numerical experiments of modeling and forecasting of weather conditions on Ukraine territory and computation of air pollution concentration from industrial emissions under realization on cluster multiple-processor architecture were got.
