Vernadsky University popup.description2 We studied theoretically and experimentally a process of the high-effective generation of high-order optical vortices with both the stack of optical wedges and the uniaxial crystals. We showed that the polarization filter sited behind the crystal enabled us to control radial and azimuthal positions of the vortices at the beam cross-section. The processes of light propagation along twisted weakly-guiding fibers were investigated. We obtained a mode structure of the radiation and polarization corrections to a scalar propagation constant for a highly twisted anisotropic fiber.
