The pur-pose of work - to establish the basic rules of formation of the trace element hydrated diphosphates and solid solutions on their basis and to preform recommendations on their synthesis. Methods of researches - the basic method of research of heterogene-ous interaction is a method of residual concentrations. Identification and researches of synthesized diphosphates to perform with the help of сcomplex of methods of the analysis: chemical, potentiometric, X-ray and IR spectroscopic. The research results - the optimal conditions providing reception diphosphate-matrixes - Mg2P2O7·8H2O, Mg2P2O7·6H2O, Mn2P2O7·5H2O, Со2P2O7·6H2O і Zn2P2O7·5H2O are determined. For the first time 10 solid solutions of the hydrated diphosphates of magnesium and trace elements (manganese, cobalt, zinc) on the basis of diphosphate-matrixes are synthesized. Features of their formation, the chemical nature, areas of homogeneity are determined. It is established, that collateral paired precipitation of cations in sys-tems such as MеSO4 - МеSO4 - К4P2O7 - H2O (Ме = Mg2+, Mn2+, Со2+, Zn2+) is re-alized with formation of diphosphates different by the chemical nature and areas of homogeneity, namely: а) the limited solid solution on the basis only one diphos-phate-matrix; б) two limited solid solutions on the basis of both diphosphate-matrixes; в) two limited solid solutions on the basis of structures of both diphos-phate-matrixes and heterophase mixes of two phases; г) the unlimited solid solution of replacement. Correlation dependences between conditions of synthesis and com-position of solid solutions of the hydrated diphosphates of Mg, Mn (ІІ), Co (ІІ), Zn which allow to purposeful change composition in extensive limits are determined. The basic rules of formation of solid solutions of the magnesium, manganese (ІІ), cobalt (ІІ), zinc diphosphates which provide realization of their directed synthesis are established. Recommendations on synthesis of the hydrated diphosphates and solid solutions on their basis of concrete composition preformed. Range of applica-tion - the enterprises, research institutes UААS and NАS Ukraine, which working on expansion of assortment of high performance mineral fodder additives, fertilizers and fungicides.
