Conclusions have been made in regard to adequacy of the currently existing systems for protection of economic competition and their specific components; the efficiency of their functioning as internally coordinated mechanisms and as a component of the legal system as a whole has been analyzed. Conclusions and proposals made with respect to areas and ways for further improvement of the competition legislation foresee practical implementation by making changes in Ukrainian laws.
