The main objective is the development of new mathematical models of physicochemical processes in electrochemiluminescent and photochemical analyses, and methods and algorithms for their solution with the aim of utilising the results for the solution of applied problems and for prediction and interpretation of experimental data in modern microelectrode electrochemistry and photochemistry. For the solution of these problems, analytical and numerical methods of the complex function theory, analysis and differential equation theory have been exploited. Within this project, numerical methods and approaches employing conformal mappings have been developed for investigating non-steady state mass transport processes in electrochemical systems with microelectrodes. The generalised mathematical model of a homogeneous reaction scheme has been constructed, a method of a priori determination of stiffness of a Cauchy problem and a method for determining the necessary accuracy of its numerical integration have been developed substantiated by the proof of corresponding theorems. The results are of fundamental significance in the theory of modelling heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical processes. Practical significance of this research consists in the developed computer software "KinFitSim" for modelling homogeneous reaction schemes and determining the values of parameters of a photochemical process.
