The aim of the work is to research and develop technological approaches of cooling systems and blast furnaces coolers designs, increasing wear resistance of coolers and productivity. Influence of design parameters (cooling tubes diameter, distance between them, their form) and an operating mode on temperature fields of copper and iron coolers was defined. Influence of a cooling way (cold water or evaporation cooling) on coolers temperature was examined. Thermal stress in coolers was calculated.
