With this purpose the complex approach, in which researches are carried out at a level of an organism and at a level of its cells, has been developed. At a cellular level a frequency of micronucleus and double nucleus (as parameters of genotoxicity), and also quantitative characteristics of nucleolus (as a criterion of cytotoxicity) are investigated in tests - organisms. The nucleus biomarker offered for complex use together with the micronuclear test, includes a set of parameters of a nucleus, namely a quantity of nucleus in a cell, the size of single nucleus, a fate of cells with conjugated heteromorphic nucleolus. Such set of parameters most objectively characterizes biosynthetic activity of a cell and at the same time reflects different mechanisms of its regulation. The micronuclear test - one of the methods of revealing of substances which show genotoxic properties.Thus, the whole data set concerning toxicity, geno - and cytotoxicity of investigated water is received.
