Aim of the work - to work out resource-saving agropractices for optimization the roots medium for small-volume growing and ground greenhouses and the rise of tomato productivity. Method of investigations - laboratory and laboratory-field ones. The best by water-physical properties there were substrates, forme on the basis of sun-flower aril, humus and bioclot. The use of such substrates favours the increase of tomato yield on 12-16%, the increase of conditionally net profit on 3,66 Hr/m2, of the profitableness level – to. The use of sideral and other organic fertilizers favours the improvement of agrochemical and agrophysical properties of the ground, the increase of its biological activity and the yield of tomato. The positive influence of fertilizers on the ground fertility and tomato productivity is marked not only in the year of their application, but during 2 years after that. The most effective way for the increase both potential and effe tive fertility of the greenhouse ground was the use of sideral mass of mustard together with straw.
