Subject of investigation - tomato. Aim of the work - to create heterotic tomato hybrids, resistant to biotic and abiotic factors, suitable for different directions of usage, high qualitative, adaptable to industrial production. Methods of investigation - selection of inicial material, hybridization, selection from splitting populations. There was defined the breeding value of more than 468 lines F4-F12, selected up to 400 the best samples, defined combinative ability of 60 breeding lines. In breeding nurseries there is conducted testing of 154 F4 hybrids and 30 variety samples. In F2 nursaries there were studied 86 splitting populations. In the nursery of the main variety testing there are studied perspective tomato varieties and hybrids, 7 samples: Shevalie F1, Asteroid, Magnat, Maestro, Klondike, Malinovoie Vycante, Chaika are given to the State Commission for Protection of Plant Varieties.
