Aim of the work to conduct monitoring of phyto-sanitary state of vegetable crops sowings, to improve existing and to work out new measures for plant protection under conditions of different forms of property. In the result of inspection of phyto-sanitary state of vegetable crops sowings in the open ground it is defined that the most widely-distributed and harmful diseases in the open ground were black rot of cabbage, downy mildew of onion, bacteriosis and downy mildew of cucumber, late blight and alternaria leaf spot of tomatoes. The extent of development reached accordingly 38,0; 34-40 %; 34,8-39,5 %; 60,0 %; 62,1-81,8 %; 42,0 %. There is conducted monitoring of harmful entomofauna of cabbage, onion, cucumber. By the result of investigations the most widely-distributed and harmful pests of cabbage are leaf miners from the family Lepidoptera cabbage cutworm, diamond back moth, cabbage and rape butterflies, from the family Homoptera cabbage aphis; of onion - coleopterous snout beetle. There is conducted the analysis of indices of pests quantity and of diseases development intensity. Dependence of these parameters from the variability of hydrothermal coefficient is proved.
