Aim of the work - to substantiate the mechanism of calculation between institutions-originators, authors of varieties and hybrids and seeds producers to evaluate a variety value, to calculate royalty rates for original, elite and reproduction seeds, to reveal economic bases of different forms of property farm organization, to work out ways for increase economic efficiency of vegetables and seeds production at agricultural enterprises, to improve the expenditures structure by periods and expenditures items, to substantiate the conception of commercial vegetable growing development. Methods of investigation - mathematical-statistic methods. In the work there were used materials of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine of Kharkiv regional statistics department. Results of investigation - there was conducted the analyses methods for evaluation intellectual property, the methods was worked out for definition a year economic effect from a variety or hybrid use in vegetable grooving, royalty rates were calculated in vegetable grooving, the method was worked out for roulette assessment between authors of a variety or hybrid and an institution-originator, rating of a concrete variety and hybrid , the initial variety value was calculated. There is worked out "The Scientific-Technical Program of Vegetable Growing Development for 2002-2005 and for a perspective to 2010" , the scientific accompaniment of "The Complex Program of Agriculture Development in Kharkiv region in 2001-2005 and for a period to 2010".
