Subject of investigations: peculiarities and cytogenetic mechanisms of transformation of potential genotypic variability into accessible one in egg-plant and sweet pepper. Aim of the work: to work out methods and measures, which raise the level of recombinative and extend the spectrum of genotypic variability in progenies of Solanaceae crops hybrids. On the basis of theoretical elaborations there is prepared an application for a method of prognosis of genotypic variability spectrum on the basis of bioelectric evaluation of F1, hybrids. The application is submitted for a method of extending the spectrum of genotypic variability and also the patent is taken out for a method of raising the level of recombinative and extending the spectrum of genotypic variability in Solanaceae plants. There is completed the work on the creation of 5 early ripening productive lines of sweet pepper, selected from splitting populations of F1, hybrids with different ontogenetic fitness.
