The high-quality and quantitative parameters of arc overstrains in networks with a different mode of grounding of neutral point of network at the change in the wide range of parameters of network and place of shorting of phase on earth are explored. Influence of the most meaningful factors on the size of overstrains is appraised at the same time, such as: character of burning of arc, size of resistance in the place of hasp of isolation, nonlinear descriptions of elements of network. The fast-acting system of liquidation of the arc shorting, which includes the devices, is offered: discoveries of the damaged phase, shunting of site of damage and search of the damaged joining in the ramified network. The scheme solutions offered in work will find wide practical realization for the increase of reliability of work of the electric systems with the isolated and resonance earthed neutral point of network.
