Examined problems: mutual dependencies of technological parameters with respect to the height of active area; characteristics and parameters of the sintering process high temperature zone; heat transfer and fluid dynamics of process; developing of some aspects of oxidation-and-reduction reactions balance with respect to the height of active area. New methods developed: The method of sintering process completeness stabilization with respect to СО2 content in the off-gases; the method of the sintering process continuous checking and regulation of active area height, which allows checking of agglomerate quality and sintering unit productivity. For ensuring energy safety of production process, reducing of prime cost, it is offered a scheme of power resources efficient using and energy saving actions introduction with respect of their influence on the blastfurnaces operation characteristics. Offered energy saving technology of low oxidized agglomerate production allows to reduce production expenses by 20-25% of solid and gaseous fuel and about 5% of blast furnace coke.
